So long.

I go to Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology at the next monday. Of course, it is in northern Gwang-Ju. In order to complete my military mandatory.

It is well known that in Korea, all men who is over 20 aged must go to military service for 2 years. However, there are alternative ways like what I take. Alternative military service is what the person work for a company or for a institute which is assigned to employ the agents of military. Surely, there are another bad points. That is that the period is for 3 years long. Anyway, I think that is better than normaly going to army.

Anyway.

Will I eat the dinner in the Hell??! (Perhaps, every three feedings?!)

In Korea, "Debating for 100 minutes" is one of the most famous television programs.
Its official web-site have done several Internet polls. So, I introduce some of them to you as examples of delta-functions in polls.

You can also find these results at the web-site http://poll.imbc.com/poll/Vote/Poll_Result.asp?Poll_Num=994 and so on.

What is your political position about the proposal for reorganization of government by the president Myung-bak Lee?

Ought to do as the original proposal -> 5% (214 persons)
Agree with the principles of the proposal, but need to improve -> 6% (235 persons)
After investigation enough, promote gradually -> 26% (1054 persons)
Opposing the principles of the proposal, completely re-investigation about them -> 62% (2502 persons)
You may think this is not like delta-function. Yes. I know. There are more striking examples.

What is your political position about construction of the great canal on Korean peninsula?
Treat the original proposal -> 2% (250 persons)
Treat the original, but needed to complement -> 2% (239 persons)
Opposition -> 92% (12052 persons)
Determined by vote of whole korean -> 4% (492 persons)
The great canal on Korean peninsula is one of election pledges of Myung-bak Lee for the election of president. The idea is that the canal is necessary for faster transportation (Not transFORMATION) of products in Korea. Hence, the canal should be constructed from Seoul to Busan. For your further understanding, the distance between Seoul and Busan is about 460km. The distance can be arrived in 30 minutes by Airplane, in 3 hours by Train, in 4 hours by Car, and in about 24~48 hours by Ship on the canal. It is too short to move some products by ships. Moreover, the modern economy cannot wait so long time about 40 hours. That makes this poll result.

What is the most expected policy in election pledges in economy of Myung-bak Lee?
Republic of Korea 7.4.7 -> 2% (55 persons)
The great canal of Korean peninsula -> 2% (47 persons)
Zul.Pu.Se (Fastening taxes and restriction) -> 1% (35 persons)
A counterplan for real estate -> 1% (31 persons)
Nothing -> 94% (2603 persons)
Addiing a explanation, 7.4.7 is the eledge that he will make Korea economical growth by 7%, 40,000$ in GNI, and become the great seven.
Koreans have NO expectations to the president. WTF.

This is paradox. Why? See below

What basis do you have in choosing candidates in president election?
Personality -> 16% (395 persons)
Party -> 4% (92 persons)
Policies and Pledges -> 19% (485 persons)
Morality, quality -> 60% (1507 persons)
Other features -> 1% (18 persons)
Do you know why this is so paradoxical situation?

In the candidates of president election...
Even though MB was evaluated as he evaded taxes, military service, and so on, he won the election. EVEN THOUGH Koreans have the election basis "morality", he was returned at the head of the poll.

Anyway, the determined fact cannot be changed. In my opinion, Korea will grow down(NOT up).

If you operate Linux, imput method for Korean is provided. You just set SCIM for Korean. Shift+Space or some other combinated function key make your keyboard changed to Korean keyboard.
Otherwise, you can easily find another input method for Korean, for example, nabi.

If you are MAC user, I don't know how to do. Sorry.

If you use MS windows, you have two way. A way is Korean IME provided by MS official site. Unfortunately, I have never spend Korean IME of MS. The other way is Saenaru. You can obtain it from KLDP.net
URL : http://kldp.net/frs/?group_id=346
Saenaru provides both 3bul and 2bul of Korean input methods. You can choose a way to input Korean.

Have you ever heard about Korea?

Korea can be easily found by using Google Maps or Earth. Find "Republic of Korea" (If you try to find Korea, you cannot find it : http://nudenude.tistory.com/440 )

You can see the map of the world above. Seoul is the capital of Korea. The Korean territory is so much smaller than that of U.S., China, or any other large nations.

The official language of Korea is Korean, surely. However, Many of Korean parents force their children to learn English rather than Korean because they believe that a person using English like native speakers can earn so much money and succeed in his/her life. The belief is, should be, wrong. Abilities in languages are less important than passion or trust. The parents cannot recognize that. So strange?

Korea is separated to North and South. North Korea is communism nation, while South Korea is democratic. Of course, I live in South Korea. Even though many people want unification, it will take so long time when nobody knows that it will be done. Moreover, since North Korea has Nuclear bomb, it is the belief though that is not true, U. S. doesn't want to help NK.

There are so many things that you may be interested in about Korea. Please ask me. :)
